Mifi on Linux Budgie via USB

Trying to use Mifi 2000 via USB on a Linux Budge machine.  Doesn't see a ethernet over USB connection.  Not using Wifi, direct USB.

My old T-Mobile 4G hotspot works fine.

¿Tienes alguna idea?

Possibly no "route" to the M2000 device.   Try a ping 192.168.1.1  which is the default (factory reset) IP address of the M2000.  If that fails then "route -n" to examine the routing table setup.  If there's no route to 192.168.1.1 then that should be the first thing to fix.  Also useful is the "ifconfig" command to verify that your Budgie has an IP address on the 192.168.1.x network.  It's been 2 months since I setup my M2000 and I (sort of) remember needing to -enable- USB Tethering in the device setup screens.  And turn off WiFi while you're getting the USB part working.  It does work on a Linux system!
