I literally live .2 miles away from the tower. I don't think it's a switching issue. But what you say about my IP and NAT does make sense especially since T-Mobile locks users out of DHCP settings and will not allow port forwarding. Very frustrating and lame.
I was sadly getting upload speeds of 700 kmpbs and download of like 20-50 mpbs! It was terrible, that's daily in my area! I couldn't even use the internet on my phone at some point. Funny enough I would switch to my T mobile data to compensate.
