Although I have already activated 5G Plus, I am not so sure if I really need the plus for worry free coverage, or maybe the 5G is absolutely enough for me. We normally only have two people in the house, two story, 2500 sqf house. We need internet for cell phones, computers, and using the TV. My spouse works from home a few days a week, he needs to connect to his work and runs schematics as an engineer (main reason we went for the 5G Plus). During holidays, we might have a couple of kids coming home to visit for a few days, but normally just us two. Do we really need to pay for the 5G Plus, or should we go for regular 5G? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.Solved266Visto1like3Comentarios5G Home Internet Continues to disconnect
I have had this device just a few days and I must reboot it about three times a day as the WIFI will fail and knock out ethernet as well. Sometime I have to reboot it twice in a row. When can I expect a hotfix for this issue? I cannot afford to work like this and I will have to drop service is not fix ASAP. I will like to also request credit on my bill until the issue is 100% resolved. I see several topics for the exact same issue I am having and it need to be fixed across the board!!!Solved3.2KViews6likes16ComentariosHome internet Question
I just got T-Mobile home internet yesterday! And so far it's been excellent! We were getting speeds close to 400 mbs. Today that speed dropped to about 120 mbs. Is this a congestion thing? Or is something wrong? My signal is 5 bars, and excellent status. My previous ISP was 6 mbs so I'm not complaining by any means! I just don't want anything to be wrong! Thanks so much for any informationSolved214Visto0likes4ComentariosWhen will 5G home internet be available in Santa Clara?
I am dying to get off comcast, when can Santa Clara, CA 95050 hope to see service availability? I see it's in Sunnyvale now which isn't too far! Wondering how I might influence T-Mobile to expand in our area, it's a desert of choice here :(43Visto0likes0ComentariosCan you Stream Golf Channel?
Good day, I have had T-Mobile Home Internet Service for almost 6-months, and all is well...well, almost. I am trying to get GolfChannel streaming. I have tried numerous times with the activation code for NBC Peacock+ (NBC owns golf Channel) but all to no avail. Have you ben able to get it to work? When researching theGolf Channel website, I get the link that takes me to watch "Live." When I use the link, it takes me to a list of ISPs (Comcast, etc.) and T-Mobile is not present. When I called Golf Channel, they are clueless. I stream Peacock, Apple, etc. all with no issues. Any suggestions much appreciated!Solved172Visto0likes3ComentariosRequired changes for Nokia 5G home gateway "the trash can"
These have been mentioned on various other threads be we need a thread that discusses the REQUIRED changes for this device to be taken seriously. At the end of the day I just need a dumb modem. But specifically we need these options to all be in the admin web page. Allow admins to enable HTTPs access to the Gateway, Allow admins to 100% turn off the WiFi radios, Allow admins to access the Gateway's internal firewall, and be able to create/modify rules, check logs, etc. Allow admins to 100% disable the gateway's internal firewall if so desired. Allow admins to switch the device to bridge mode. Honestly the last option would solve 90% of power users problems because then they could just use their existing home router to do everything else the way they were before they switched to T-Mobile. I can tell this is a pretty powerful device by reading up on the Nokia Fastmile home page, which is this same device unbranded. All of the above can easily be done with this device and if I had to guess, the unbranded Nokia device probably does all of this stuff already. EDIT: In fact, here in the Nokia FastMile manual I see most of the options we need, T-Mobile just needs to turn them on.Nokia: Nokia FastMile 5G R1 0 03 Gateway End User Guide (The T-Mobile version of this device is the equivalent of the Nokia FastMile 5G 3.1, which moves the ports to the side of the device instead of the bottom (Fastmile 3.0)3.2KViews6likes11Comentarios
