T-Mobile connection in Japan.
Recently my T-Mobile phone has received no signal in Japan. And I cannot receive text messages - even from T-Mobile. It is critical that I cannot receive the verification code to log in my T-Mobile Account. I don't know it is because that the Soft-bank terminated 3G connection or their satellite service became out of service. I greatly appreciate your expertise.
VoLTE in Japan?
GSM-phones built for the US (and GSM) aren't compatible with 2G in Japan which is based on CDMA.So I'd like to know can I use VoLTE in Japan when roaming using Tmobile's roaming agreements with the carriers in Japan? And if so, does that work fortxt messaging as well? If VoLTE is a no go should I be prepared to use VoIP alternatives (I.e. with a different phone number)? Thanks! David
