6 TopicsService outage in Ann Arbor, MI
Trying to get a hold of TMobile support or to find out if there's an outage from last night's storm. I am unable to make or receive any phone calls using mobile data. The phone only works for internet, when I turn on the wifi for a connection. The network seems to be trying to come on, every now and then, but it can't seem to hold a signal for very long.184Visto0likes0ComentariosHorrible Signal/Service
I recently switched back to T-mobile due to cost of home internet & everything being pretty ridiculous else where. I am sadly regretting this choice! I get good home internet service only for about 4 hours a day. The rest of the day it is buffering constantly. I have to reset the internet password on my electronics multiple times a week as well because the internet goes out. I also have horrible cell service where I live. Inside my house it's decent but once I leave my home I lose ALL signal! I can't open apps & I have a difficult time making calls because there is no service! I am seriously breaking my contract or whatever to find a better service that I can actually use my phone when I am in town.63Visto1like0Comentarios5G UC 4 bars, "unlimited premium data " but network so congested its unuseable.
Last might I had a very important video stream I had to be on, the call of a lifetime. I am on magenta max, with unlimited premium data, no deprioritization. My phone shows 5G UC with 4/5 signal bars, yet embarrassingly, my network could not handle the stream. When I do a speed test, half the time it won't connect, when it does the jitter is extremely high, meaning the ping is going up and down wildly second by second, the download speed is anywhere between 20Mbps-140Mbps, but the upload speed is almost non existent. It's anywhere between 0.0-1.0 mbps, .2, .04, .02 etc. How embarrassing, we have to cancel the entitr event, and why? Because I'm on the T-Mobil network. The network at my home is ALWAYS congested during peek hours, but it's usually not quitethis bad. The only thing I can think is that they have been giving away so many cheap $100 phones on the metro network. Yes, I've heard the trick and yeah sometimes when the network slows down I can switch to the 4g lte and get a momentary return to connectivity. After about 10 minutes this usually slows down too and I can switch back and forth from 5g to 4g, sometimes it helps, sometimes not much. If I was on a cut rate carrier and paying $25 or $40 a month, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm not. You expect to get what you pay for, right? Even though I'm supposed to have network priority over those who pay $30-$50 a month because I'm paying double, it seems there are just so many of them it doesn't matter. I usedto be on the Meteo network and yeah, after 35gb you get deprioritized, it sucked but it was expected. Also, Im sure they would not admit to it but they also at times block certain online gaming servers. It won't connect, but when you flip on the VPN, it works no problem. Except using the VPN as a middle man makes the already mediocre speed just a but worse. I've seen them tell other users that it's a software glitch that will be fixed with the next update....nah. I get it, their network is congested and they are trying to open up capacity while inconveniencing the smallest number of users. This is more of an irritant than major issue. The network being so congested its unusable is a big deal. Now they say they are ramping up 5g mid band to more areas. Seems like they just care about getting everybody "covered" not that their network performs to expectations. Of course I've gone through tech support where they *reset* your connection. It works better for a couple hours, i think they are just temporarily giving you super prioritization on the network so you come absolutely first for a short time. Is there something I'm missing here? Is there nothing to do aside from seeing if another carrier's network is better in my area?10KViews8likes12Comentarios¿Cómo?
I am unable to use my service when I am not on wifi. An eSim has been installed and everything and I cannot make or receive calls outside of my home. When I am traveling I cannot even use Google maps. Nothing has been done about this and now I just received a bill... how do you expect me to pay for a service I am not even receiving?149Visto0likes8ComentariosSpotty Service 98390
For the past two weeks, we've had limited service at our home address. I've been to the local store and they checked my settings and replaced SIM card. Called customer service and they "boosted" my signal from their end. Was told tower 85036 is malfunctioning. The tower is within line of sight of my home. We are unable to send texts, send or receive calls or use our data. Currently, to utilize our phones, we are required to leave our home and drive to a location with adequate service. Every once in a while we'll pickup an LTE signal at home but normally it's "E". We've lived in the home for 23 years and have never had an issue with coverage. I am wondering if anyone else has faced a tower performance issue and how long it took to resolve the problem? And, are others in my area experiencing performance issues? At this point, I'm not exactly sure what I'm paying for...136Visto0likes4ComentariosNo Coverage in Inspirada Community in Henderson, NV?
My partner and I made the switch to T-Mobile from ATT with high hopes that the change would be worthwhile…..So far, it's been less than satisfactory with one main concern of ours. It was advertised on the coverage map that we'd have both LTE and 5G in our area with no problems whatsoever, Not only do we receive one, maybe two bars at best in our own home, calls will randomly drop out anywhere while I'm out and about. It's honestly infuriating considering we are living in one of the largest cities in the nation and can't seem to have a decent phone call without the call dropping…. Can T-MobIile PLEASE fix this issue?? I'm sure we're not the only ones experiencing this issue….519Visto1like6Comentarios
