roaming
6 TopicsData Roaming while still at home?
My phone has been displaying "roaming" for the past couple days instead of the usual T-Mobile connection, even though I have not left my house let alone left my own state. I haven't traveled internationally in years so that wouldn't be caused by that either. I have exhausted all of my options in terms of troubleshooting to trying and fix it, but it is perpetually stuck in that roaming status. I have tried reseting my network settings, rebooting my phone, changing cellular settings, and pretty much everything you cam think of. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I would really love to return to my normal service since I rely heavily on my data for Internet access!119Visto0likes2ComentariosRoaming Violation

I live in Alaska and I just want to know if this is a scam or if anyone else has had similar issues?3.6KViews0likes20Comentariosnetwork roaming issue
I switched to T-Mobile from Verizon in January for a business account. Our business is in a rural area in Nebraska. When we opened the account with T-Mobile we were never told or explained about the roaming issues. Around March, I received a text message saying- (T-Mobile: IMPORTANT NOTICE - For the last several months your primary usage on line (712*******)has been off our network which is against our terms. As a result, this line will be canceled on May 22 2023. For more details and help go to:https://t-mo.co/roaming1).Soimmediately after I received this message I called support to talk about what was going on. The representative I spoke with understood my issue and about how the business is located in a rural area and everyday it will be using other networks to get service. Hesaid he changed my plan to an older plan that had better roaming and that I would not have to worry about my number being canceled. I turned off my automatic roaming hoping this would help. And he reassured me that the messages were an error. And to not worry that my phone line would not be canceled. The next month I received the exact same message again. Soagain I immediately called and Spoke with another representativethat also said my phone number was fine and that she could read the conversation from the prior month. And that I had no warning or issues about my phone being turned off and that the message was an error, and that I would not have to worry about it.Well today is May 22nd and my phone is turned off. This is my business number and we are opening in one hour. We need this phone number to be turned back on ASAP. Why was it turned off if your representatives confirm twice that it would be fine and not to worry about the messages I was receiving, that my number would never be canceled or turned off?90Visto0likes1ComentarioRoaming Issue (US Cellular) in WV (1 phone fine 1 not)
Hello everyone I hope someone can help me get to the bottom of this (I have yet to find an answer anywhere on Reddit, Here, or with Tech Support). My wife and I have used Mint for 2 years and it was relatively good which is why we swapped over to T Mobile the other day. The town 2 miles down the street (our biggest "city") we have always never had service (we get 5 bars but emergency calls only) which we thought was weird since multiple towers are in town and T Mobile maps show signal there. We just got used to it and figured oh well we won't have signal when we go grocery shopping etc. Fast forward the other day, first time going to town since swapping to T Mobile. We both have BYOD , mine is from Samsung Unlocked S22 Ultra and hers is a used Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. We went to town and she was blown away she had signal in the town which we never have. I did not, I only got the emergency calls only. We figured out it was because she is connecting to US Cellular, which is a HUGE T Mobile roaming partner for WV (they cover a huge majority of the rural areas). That said I tried to manually connect like I have tried on 4 other phones and 4 other sims over the last 2 years. Same error message "sim card not allowed". This makes no sense because T Mobile obviously uses US Cellular and my wife's phone who is on my account works amazingly. I have called everyone imaginable and have 2 sim cards coming to try (but I seriously doubt it works since I have had multiple phones and sims over the last 2 years). Does anyone know a way to get this fixed? It would be nice to have signal in town. Thank you ahead of time and I appreciate any help.796Visto0likes9Comentarios
