T-Mobile lost my phone
Hello. I recently did a phone trade-in with T-mobile. I ordered a new iphone 16 256gb. I received the phone with a box to send back the trade-in. I packed the old phone with the supplied box and shipping lable that T-Mobile provided and brought it to UPS for shipping. The package arrived to T-Mobile with proof of delivery. Meanwhile, T-mobile had continued to send reminders to ship back my phone but if I had done so to ignore the message, which I did because I shipped the phone. 2 billing cycles later, my credit for the trade-in stopped. I called T-mobile to see what happened. After 40 plus minutes, the agent there confirmed the package arrived but the phone was not scanned because it was not in the box. I was then instructed to file a claim for a missing package with UPS. This did not make sense to me since the package was delivered. UPS did not have any additional findings that could help me. I called T-mobile back and they basically stated that without receiving the phone I'm out the money. $300 So basically we, as customers, have to trust that when we put a phone in the mail and send it back, that all will go well. T-mobile would not entertain the possibility that they are at fault. It is entirely possible that a simple mistake happened on their end or an employee took it and says it wasn't in the box, which is basically what T-mobile is doing to me. I have absolutely no way to prove I put the phone in the box. I have been a loyal customer of T-mobile for almost 25 years. I've never made a late payment. I used to pride them for their customer service but things have changed.37Visto0likes1Comentario
