Re: Unreal dropouts and slowed speed on 5g home internet router
So I cant speak to any speed issues since it's been pretty good for me. However, I can definitely speak to gateway issues. Which gateway do you have? Browsehttps://www.t-mobile.com/support/home-internet.html,scroll to the "Firmware Updates" section to determine the latest firmwarefor your device. I have the Sagemcom and the 1.2.74 firmware has solved my stability issues! Thank goodness. I just acquired my Sagemcom gateway 3days ago and hadbeen dealing with continual reboots of the device creating a totally unusable ISP. I swapped the device out for a new Sagemcom on Saturday but it had the same issues. I called support and they were able to successfully flash the device with the new 1.2.174 firmware. As of now, the gateway has been totally stable for 1 day and 14+ hours without a reboot. The speed has been pretty good as well. I usually see 350-400 Mbps down and 70-90 Mbps up with a laptop directly connected via ethernet and 280-340 Mbps connected via wifi. I only got this as a backup to my primary 1G cable connection but so far, besides the initial frustration, I'm pretty impressed! Call support and request they push the new firmware. It worked for me!9Visto0likes0Comentarios
