I've had similar issues: When I started my car with the phone plugged in, Android Auto launched, but was not properly tracking my current location (by miles, not yards) and did not update that position as I moved I decided to try restarting my phone, and when plugged in AA did not launch I looked at the phone's screen and was offered 3 options, one of which is a combined "File Transfer/Android Auto" (2nd) Android Auto did not load, but all my audio files on the phone started playing through the speakers, apparently in alphanumeric order by file name I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the phone and backed out of the connection options, and nothing connected to the phone Finally, the last time I checked T-Mobile's site, rollout of Android 12 to OnePlus phones was still in test phase.
