Re: Unable to connect Chamberlain garage door opener via 5g internet

Many people think they are the same thing. 🤷♂️46Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Unable to connect Chamberlain garage door opener via 5g internet

Not sure if the Chamberlain device requires UPnP enabled, but newer (read: more secure) systems may have that disabled by default. Mine worked with cablemodem + separate Asus routers. Did not work with new AT&T fiberoptic modem with integrated router. Works with T-Mobile 5G Arcadyan modem/router. I use the very old (2014) Chamberlain Internet Gateway device.28Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Unable to connect Chamberlain garage door opener via 5g internet
I got my Chamberlain Internet Gateway accessory (old 2014 CIGBU model) working with my Chamberlain HD930EV garage door system in the myQ Android mobile app v5.262 again! 8/2024 After doing a factory reset, I plugged it into my T-Mobile 5G cellular modem/router (Arcadyan KVD21, firmware v1.00.23) and it was recognized, and I followed the steps in the myQ app to set it up. It was not recognized by my new AT&T Humax BGW320-500 fiberoptic modem/router earlier. It was working fine for years with Asus routers in a cablemodem system.40Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: how do I know what my device codes mean
If the cinnected device names listed in the internet mobile app look confusing, take note of them then turn off your child's device temporarily and see which one dropped off the connected list. That would be your child's device. The more technical way to identify devices is to know their MAC address, and check that against the connected device MAC address listed in the internet mobile app.21Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Verifying devices connected to the T-Mobile Internet Gateway
On the "T-Mobile Internet" mobile app, I see a list of my connected devices by name. When I click on a device there, I see: IP address, signal strength, MAC address. I also see ability to disconnect that device, and ability to manage connection times/schedules for that device.146Visto0likes0Comentarios
