Re: has anyone else been scammed by T-Mobile?
T - Mobile Store 1151 Galleria Blvd #2245 Roseville, CA 95678 Same scam, different customer: Same associate as the previous compliant from this store 6 months ago (Angry Customer) - cornrows, heavy-set and seemed stoned I went into a T-Mobile store at the Roseville Galleria, in Roseville, CA on June 20, 2024 and ask an associate what kind of promos and trade-ins they had going. I was told I would get $800 credit for a trade-in of my Samsung Note 9 towards a Samsung S24. I clarified with the associate if there would be any extra fees and he stated that I would only pay sales tax on my new phone (which I did) and that I would not have any extra charges on my phone bill. The store had terrible wifi and all my photos and such didn't download before the store closedat 8pm. So, I took my old and new phone home while it continued to transfer. That night we were notified that the phone insurance we were paying on 2 lines was removed. We were also notified that 2 lines were added to our account. The next day I went back to the store and turned in my old phone and told the same associate that 2 lines were added and the insurance removed from 2 existing lines. He stammered and stuttered and said it was a mistake and supposedly removed the 2 lines and added the insurance back. When the July bill came it went up around $50 and showed that those 2 extra lines were suspended but we were still being charged for the lines. I called and spoke to a Customer Care Representative. He apologized, supposedly fixed the 2 extra line charges and I was told I would see a credit on the next bill and that I would not be charged for those lines in the future. Now it's September and our bill is still not correct and even worse I'm being charged $41.67 with a note on the bill that states it's payment 3 of 24 (meaning I'm paying for my new phone). So, I called Customer Care again today, September 26, 2024 and the associate told me that while researching the new charges he found that the promo I was given was $800 for a new phone if I added a new line! What!? This was never discussed or I wouldn't have upgraded my phone at that time. When I called in July about those 2 lines, I was never told that if I removed them that it would null and void my promo (but that's what it did and why I'm now being charged $41.67 a month). My only other option is to accept another promo that is a $300 credit towarsd a new phone. Seems like T-Mobile has quite the scam going. When I Googled "T-Mobile scammed me" this site came up and it seems like this is happening on a regular basis. I was told by the supervisor I was speaking with that I need to go back to the store and speak with manager and then my best course of action is to "tweet" about my experience. What?! He said T-Mobile has social media accounts and follows them closely. I can also write a letter and mail it USPS to the Legal Department at: T-Mobilewireless Legal Dept. 12920 South East 38th Street Bellevue, Washington 98006-1250 A billion dollar corporation is screwing their customers and instead of making it right and honoring the promo we were told we had they are taking the money and running.1Ver0likes0Comentarios
