Missing time stamps on bill
Does anyone know why some time stamps and phone numbers are missing from the phone bills? I've been looking for time stamps on text messages from my daughter and myself and we are missing about 15 minutes worth. I've spoken to CSR reps and they can't understand why either .
if they are imessages then those technically are not texts and wont show. those are basically like sending someone a Facebook message..they go through Apples servers. not the carriers.
might be what you are seeing? or is there just a huge chunk of texts missing and not just with Apple devices?

@fireguy_6364 Ahh okay that makes sense - now that mention it, it is pretty much all apple devices. there's no way to retrieve these ? I needed them for court purposes and now I'm not sure what to do.

the only ones that would be able to be seen by TMO would be regular texts or MMS (group texts, pic texts overly winded texts) but not sent as an Imessage. only records of anything sent/received would be on yalls side in the phones themselves i believe.
actually im going to tag someone in here that knows Apple devices way more than i do ..
@tidbits i THINK you were the Apple user….i think lol. cant remember which of the usuals in here was the Apple buff lol.
if you are the one..is there any way to actually view imessages through any other route like the cloud or anything? the above is about all ive got when it comes to Apple devices lol

iMessages without have the physical device unlocked and no texts/calls deleted using facetime/imessages you will not have access to. Your lawyer and law enforcement can subpoena the backups but they will be encrypted and Apple can't decrypt them due to the encryption keys are not backed up and are device specific.
