Previous Data Breach Settlement notice
Received a text from Kroll Settlement Administration LLC (406 201 8925) talking about the settlement of previous data breach. Is this true?
It's about $50. I post a link in another thread about Keller Postman.

T-mobile was, apparently, required to provide a list of all parties who were affected by the data breach. If you got this text, your data was likely included in said breach.
Personally, my social was confirmed on the dark web. That's a BIG deal.

Calling to speak with a representative is not going to give you the information you need to legitamize this class action lawsuit. They just work there the same as any of us who have ever been in the customer service industry. Corporate doesn't always share that information with them so they give you the best answer they can with as much as they know. I understand being skeptical, as was I. However, simply googling (which is how the majority of us got here in the first place) and reviewing a **credible** source(s) should tell you what you need to know.

No its definitely legit. Going to the source that breached your data seems a little counter intuitive. Customer service isn't going to know the ins and outs of the company's board when comes to decisions.

I know the Knoll group as they were involved with the Equafax breach. I got some something from them last time. But CNET is legit in their information. It will hit the mainstream news soon.

Yes it’s true and yes there’s a $25 option however if you look at the print under that, if you live in CA, it’s $100. 😈
