The phone won't be updated since it's not a flagship phone and the current Android version is 14 so it's missing many OS updates.
The current version of Android for that device, is Android 13. You should be able to update to it by checking for updates on the settings. Being a very value centric device. Updates are less of a priority for Samsung. It might get Android 14 before the device is end of life but not very likely. By then, most flagship devices will be on Android 15, which should be released by the end of September.
