June Pixel security update delayed
Guess Tmobile is behind again with the June update for the Pixel 7 and below. Seems we went around with this before with January update. Guess we waited 10 days to get updated, sure if they would post a reason along with time frame for the update.

Untrue, and we've been through this before. Absolutely proven by pulling the tmo sim and putting on another carrier's. I can't do that. Too bad for the reddit blackout or it would be all over that. Yes, you can sideload it using adb. No, I don't want to. I can wait.

I have no time to argue with you. Apparently you are unaware that Google releases all their Pixel system updates on their own site. Here.

Have a nice day.

My Pixel 7 hasn’t gotten it and it’s with Verizon, while my Pixel 7 Pro on T-Mobile hasn’t gotten it either.
For the life of me Google has stated this numerous times that they STAGGER their updates. Not everyone will get it day one. Also there are various other reasons why people will not get the update other than the go to "it's the carrier".
The last 3 updates came late if you actually looked… Generally they come on the 5th. - lahawkNewbie Caller
It’s bad enough that it’s June 19, and still not available, but having Google and/ or T-Mobile with no explanation is just frustrating.

There is a bottleneck with carriers where the check the update for network compatibility, before pushing it through which is why you can often take the sim out and update over wifi after it saying that you were up to date..
Since Google Fi is an MVNO that uses T-Mobile as one of their network providers, a bottleneck at T-Mobile would also cause one at GF.
*I've solely used Pixel/nexus devices since the Nexus 6 where I started on GF before transferring to T-Mobile (to get away from sprint being the other provider and early issues with VoLTE and band 12) and updates have ALWAYS worked like that...having 100% unlocked devices straight from Google on wifi without a sim always updated more timely up until the pixel 6/ non Qualcom modem.

Just received the update today on 7pro. Everything seems smooth 🤞🏼

If I recall I received my May update on the 1st. It doesn't seem like Google is sticking to the 5th of the month for updates.

The update was released yesterday, June 13. TMobile hasn't let it go yet as of today, June 14.

carriers have zero to do with security patches being kicked out..that is all on the OEM..specifically Google on this one..only people they can blame are themselves..
