New Phone - Is there a T-Mobile setting to enable RCS?
Brand new Pixel 8 Pro phone. It's gotta support RCS, so I'm wondering if there's a T-Mobile setting blocking it? Any thoughts on what's up?

Open the Messages app.

Clicked my Google account profile picture in the upper-right corner to see more options.

Select Messages settings

Choose the first option, "RCS chats"
It tells me...
RCS chats aren't available for this device
Your device does not currently support this feature
That's strange since my Pixel 7 is set to it by default.
Try checking the Google forums.
Seems like I just needed to give it more time. I went to bed after posting the above and when I woke up and went into Messages a notice popped up telling me that RCS was ready.
Always give things a few hours for the system and Google to catch up with provisioning. Glad it's working for you.
