Trying to figure out how to change my outbound caller ID

You need to reach out to Customer Care at 611 or by sending a DM to T-Mobile via Facebook or Twitter. The reason it is no longer available within online accounts, is to prevent inappropriate names and people using names to mislead others for various reasons.
You use to be able to do it in your MyTmobile account under settings.
