pixel 6 WiFi issue
Why is the WiFi on the pixel 6 so horrible?? None of the updates have addressed or fixed it and I'm tired of having to use my data just to use this stupid phone. Once I'm done paying for this piece of crap it's back to the Samsung Galaxy for me. Losing over 10% battery at night, phone gets really hot. So many issues with a phone I was really excited to get. Is it just my phone.... Anyone else??

I just bought a Pixel 6 and no issues with the battery or wifi.

Mine was fine at first. Lost my original phone on a cruise and got a replacement and it's been downhill from there. They told me it was brand new and since this was November 2021 I figured it was. Now I'm not so sure, I've seen others with this issue so who knows.

I upgraded from a Pixel 4XL to the 6. I was running Android 13 on the 4XL and my battery life was terrible and lost wireless charging.
It would run down almost 15% surfing the net in 30 minutes. I reset the phone back to 12 and battery life is great agan.

My 6 is also running on 12. Can't wait to pay this thing off!

I’m still on the May 5th security patch but I’ve read that the new June patch is supposed to fix some battery issues.

I it literally has gotten worse with each phone they put out! I had the 3AXL and I loved it. Absolutely loved it but they told me that it was no longer going to be supported so I had to upgrade to the 4A which sucked! Never thought the pixel 6 would be an absolute POS! I've never had so many problems with one single phone in my entire life! It does what it wants. It doesn't matter how many times you reset the settings and turn things off because ultimately with every update it just realized all those permissions that you took away ... The talk to text either works or it doesn't! My favorite is when you try to erase something and the whole keyboard glitches... And the robotic sounds I have on my calls and I have to constantly turn off Wi-Fi calling and adapt of everything. I am so disappointed. I don't know how Google doesn't have a lawsuit with this damn phone! Waste of energy and time and my money and I absolutely love T-Mobile. It is Google that dropped the ball with this POS!

There is a good possibility that you don't use your phone like a younger person. Gramps lol not to be disrespectful! But my phone has more than 20 apps on it that I use regularly and it is constantly used for every little thing throughout the day.. if you use it enough, it'll give you the problems!

Disrespect taken. My user name doesn't define my place in life but the nickname and number of my favorite hockey player.
Also kudos for you on how many apps you have on your phone , now do some research and find out which ones are the battery hogs .
I use my phone for work and the only battery issues I had was when I was running Android 13 but that was a given since it's a beta version.

Yup, pixel 6 has had terrible reviews and plagued with problems. Had mine for 2 months and got rid of it.
