Android 15 update for Pixel 9
When do we expect the rollout of Android 15 on Pixel 9 for T-mobile? Will it be on the 15th October or a later date?
Google pushes out those updates, not T-Mobile. Android 15 should launch on October 15th but it will not get pushed to all devices at once. A staggered rollout is what is always done with a major update to make sure no major bug has slipped passed QA and affects millions of devices.
This update did land on time. But every month the update is late. The 14 update was 2 weeks late and they were forced to apologize. The only reason 15 is on time was Google gave the carriers a month to be able to review it. But yes, T-Mobile must review all updates and sometimes, oftentimes, it is late.
