sim lock
How do I lock a device Sim on my plan
On my phone I go to settings. Connections. Sim manager and can do a sim lock from there. This requires a pass code in order to unlock the sim for use on my phone. This way no one can remove and add a new sim to my phone without this pass code. Also is required if my phone is restarted before the phone can be used. Not sure if this is the type of sim lock you were looking for.

Phones generally have two PINs: A SIM PIN and a phone PIN. The SIM PIN is a 4-digit number. If you set the SIM PIN, you will have to enter the SIM PIN every time you restart the phone. This prevents someone from using your SIM without your permission. Beware because you get three attempts to enter the SIM PIN before the SIM locks and requires something called the PUK code to unblock it. The phone PIN (or face ID or finger print) is a way to lock your phone to prevent unauthorized use of the phone but it does not prevent the SIM from being removed and used in a different phone.
