Texts Not Being Received By Others But Pictures Are?
Hello all,
I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I have been having a problem since yesterday morning, where text messages are seemingly being sent, but never received by the other person. However, if I send them a picture (gif, screenshot, etc), they DO receive that. I have no problem receiving texts or pictures from anyone it seems.
I have gone as far as to perform a factory reset on my phone (ugh) and today it is still happening.
I do not know what else I can check. I have verified that I have not blocked the person, nor does the person have me blocked on their end.
I am very confused. At first I thought it was only to Apple device users, but then other people seemed to not be receiving messages either.

I called TMo today and they sent a network reset to my phone where my phone disconnected completely from all networks, then reconnected. After that and a reboot I was able to text normally. Might be worth trying.

Daughter tagged me in fb post. See link below for news article. Someone had posted to turn off data then turn back on, restart phone and try text again.
I added ano step and went to connections->mobile networks->network operators->turn off "select automatically" then available networks will show up. Click on tmobile
Then did again to turn "select automatically" back on.
After this, they received my texts.

I have contact support 3 times & gone to get a physical new SIM card. It seems my issue began on June 19th or June 20th, the 20th being more likely. Since contacting support on my last attempt to correct this, they transferred me to Samsung support for my Ultra 24, & they left the three way for Samsung to agree this is a Server Specific related issue. This is most likely a tower sinc either seems multiple t-mobile users are effected.
At the time it occurred, I had not updated or required any update. I received a trigger to update in early July hoping that would fix it, as they referenced bugs being corrected but alas.
Only specific recipients are unable to receive TEXT MESSAGES only; they can still receive my GIFs and any Images I send. So far these contacts are both using Apple iPhone & Samsung phones. Contacts are so far on different carriers being: At&t, Verizon & StraightTalk. I have about a total of 5-10 contacts they are effected & at this point, a carrier change is imminent for myself (why I purchased a 2k unlocked phone).
I have troubleshooted by having network turned off (each time it was an action I had to complete as the rep was unable to "trigger" ) - I have turned off & on my data, restarted & even had an update with no correction. Initially all my texts appeared to send fine, but now I can see who is NOT getting my texts as they appear as Wifi-connected when sent, even if it was not (only those not getting them have this common "white bubble sent text" versus the typically blue background bubble text sent to recipient.
Lastly, for clarity, it seems I am receiving all recipients texts, it's just a select few who do not receive mine.

Having the same issues. I'm an android user and 4 different people haven't received my messages. I've currently been on hold with customer service for 41 minutes.
I am having the same issue with my Samsung s22. Other android users are getting my texts but iPhone users only get pictures or GIFS from me.
This stinks! I have the s22 as well. I think only people on the t mobile network are receiving mine. I'm beyond frustrated as I use my phone for business.

If you haven't already you may want to call tech support. They reset my network and now it's working fine.

I should also add, to call them from another device if you have one available. They will need you to power your phone off during part of the process.
I have galaxy 9 plus and I too am having this problem but just from one person who has Verizon if that matters
