tmobile app didplays wrong device info
I have 3 lines. 1 line shows correctly but my main line is a pixel 7 256gb snow bought unlocked but the app calls it a locked iphone 7. My 2nd line is a s20 fe navy blue, but the app calls it a s20 cosmic grey. I have fought with support for a month now trying to get this fixed, any help?
If it's a phone not sold by Tmobile it will default to the closest phone sold by Tmobile.
The unlock dept said my phone isn't locked yet the TMobile still says locked if you select check device unlock. Just going to use it for now but when time for a new phone will be looking at options after this app mess I've been getting so many different answers to yet not one issue resolved.
Does the phone work with a Tmobile sim? Also where did you buy the phone? 3rd party retailers sell an "unlocked " iPhone that locks to the 1st sim that's inserted in it. It's Apple 3rd party reseller flex policy.
It's a pixel 7. Tmobile even verified today it is not locked to sprint but the TMobile app says locked iphone 7 which isn't even the right type of phone even. I'm just going to use it and when I switch eventually will get a free phone from the carrier. Never had issues like this with any other carrier
My wife had a Pixel 5a5g and it showed as a Pixel 4a since Tmobile didn't sell the Pixel 5 line.
