Use My Galaxy Tab A at T-Mobile

Will I be able use my new (IOB & Plastic Wrapping) Sprint Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (T-SM517P) at T-Mobile?  I tried using the "Bring You Own Device" in the T-Mobile App but got a message saying "Unable to check at this time".  T-Mobile took over sprint, so I would think that there *would not* be a problem using Sprint devices at T-Mobile.   If anyone has gone through something similar I would appreciate if you shared your experience with me, thank you.
