can’t receive verification code from boa

Have you tried a different sms app? It happens to me every so often.

Yes it only from my bank I can’t receive the code 

I would try contacting tmobile support using messenger on one of tmobile's social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter to see if they can help you they also are a higher tier of support.

if that one bank is the only one that you can not receive short code texts from and you CAN receive them from every other business then the issue is with BOA.

if you dont receive short code from any business period then you might have to have it added onto your account.

Just a bit of info I have, I'm also a customer of B of A and I looked back through my text messages and I see they were able to send me a verification code when I set up my Moto 5 g5 with my new T-Mobile account.  I'm not sure that helps you at all but maybe it will help someone troubleshoot this issue.  Good luck.
