Text code 128 and 2300
HI,
In the last the code 2300 and 128 have been popping up on my usage as text messages. Please provide information as to what these codes are? The 2300 is 8-10 in a row at times.
2300 code is letting you know that it's a message block, not sure on who's end. 128 turns your Binge on, on or off depending on the what you enter in the text. BON or BOF.

I'm getting 127 only outgoing and only on my boyfriend's lines. I'm talking to multiple T-Mobile representative and they all say that it is not a T-Mobile text code. They said it could be for getting toads sent to your phone like to sign into something but that doesn't explain why he was getting them back to back to back like a conversation. All day long. They don't want to cause a bunch of divorces basically is what I'm thinking

I think it is the a notification that the message has been sent/delivered/read or that the message will be delivered the recipient becomes available.
I drove myself crazy with that one a few month ago.
Also to the comment above about 123/128
missed/ blocked/rejected calls do not show up on tmobile call logs. They might be available on the phone in the notification settings》advanced notification》logs

I have been watching these texts and comparing the to phone calls/voice mail for awhile now...
When you call your Voicemail - 2 incoming 128 texts show up at the same time Calls show calling Voicemail...on other times when only 1 incoming 128 texts show, its probably someone leaving a voicemail. And 2300 is more than likely Blocked texts because I never receive a text at the time of the listed 2300 on log!

Cfall is correct as the 123 texts show up a) when you receive a voicemail notification and b) when you call your voicemail.
Text 2300 is a little more general and will show up when:
- You receive a picture / screenshot / GIF
- You send a picture / screenshot / GIF to another T-Mobile user or
- You were part of a group message and photos / screenshots / GIFs were shared or somebody reacted to a message or photo (for example - “Liked a comment or photo”).
This started happening around July as my guess is there was a system update. Hope this helps!

Sorry, meant 128 texts.

Sorry to repeat myself...but 128 is 100% Voice Mail! You will see the code 128 for calling & getting your VM and also when someone leave a message!
2300...after watching my phone & my kids phones for 2 weeks...2300 is 100% blocked text or could even be blocked call! But I can never find a received text message at the same time of the 2300!
And you need to remember if you live in the Eastern states (I’m in PA)...text logs are 3 hours behind with the time!

I see a lot of things about 123/127/128 all being around the same time. Just a thought when you call your voicemail you have to enter your PIN number, and your phone has to communicate with the server each time you press the key. maybe it's some kind of receiving code that the communication is being sent through the phone line during the phone call.

One of the phone lines is in a group chat and one of the people other than on my line blocked everybody in the group chat because they didn't want to receive messages from that chat and now on one of the phones on my line they received the 2300 code every time that they replied to the group chat just to notify that one message is not sent because of message blocking is active

Seems like this started in the past couple of months. Normally I would agree that 2300 seems to be tied to group texts, but there are also instances in our family where we will be texting each other on a single string and 2300 shows up and no one has blocked anyone. I wonder if something has happened with an update with tmobile since it seems to be on the android chats also. It just seems weird that my usage is now 80-90% coded 2300 instead of the actual phone number
