Upgrade Question
Hello! I am a new T-Mobile Customer. I was wondering if I can just buy a new iPhone through Apple and transfer my SIM to this new phone (same phone # and everything). If I am ineligible for an upgrade through T-Mobile, is it possible to just upgrade through Apple and finance it through them?

Easiest way is to use the Apple Store App on your current iPhone. It will confirm your Tmobile number and eligibility. Once that clears and you purchase, you just activate once you receive your new phone from Apple. Your Tmobile line follows the SIM, not the phone.
I just did this for the iPhone 16 launch. I purchased one phone like I describe above. Then I purchased another phone to another line on my account. After I entered that line's phone number, Apple Store sent a verification text to that other line and I just needed to verify to complete my purchase.
Can you keep the same plan when buying through Apple and using tMobile?
