Re: Home Internet, packaging contained no battery pack or charger cord. Only the tower.
Yes, you can use any standard USB C charger. The only issue could be that whatever you have doesn't have enough watts to work, but there is no harm in trying. Basically if it works with whatever you have on hand then you are ok.41Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Help cancelling a apple watch and digits line!
If you are trying to cancel from this community site, it will not work. This is a peer-to-peer community that shares know how to and experiences. There are no account services. You need to contact Tmobile support directly.320Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Iphone 16 on us question

It is unconscionable to me that T-Mobile would change their promotion just for these plans. I think it is a highly deceptive and discriminatory practice. Just to clarify, the iPhone 16 Pro promotion is only for 5G Next plans regardless of 55+ or 1st responder discount. The iPhone 16 is included on all5G Plus plans with different discounts for 1st responders based on other plans. I'm not sure of the free phone since when I sign into the app it's says up to $1,000 of if I change plans.and now discounts are staggered depending on heavily discounted plans like the 55+ plan. There's an article on it on TmoNews. That's border line false advertising. I realize now that the plan details on the official Tmobile site only says "upgradephone" and does not specify what makes or models are included. I suppose as long as it's at least one model later than your trade in, that is technically an "upgrade". I would think that the most expensive plan "Next" would give you the latest upgrade full discount, but even there it does not specifically say you get the latest year model. This is even more there reason to keep my current legacy plan and just buy directly from Apple.22Visto1like0ComentariosRe: Call Type abreviation
In your detailed bill, you should see what the types mean under each detailed report per line. It will only tell you the types that each line used not a comprehensive list. For example, all of my types are: TXT - text W - wifi calling F - mobile to mobile calling109Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: tmobile data limits scam
So the original post is not about there being a limit or not, but questioning why there is 'NO" service instead of slower data rates as the alert clearly statesafter using the limit. I think I may have the answer. The full speed service is on 5G UC. There are two ways Tmobile can limit your data speed once you reach the limit: De-prioritize your modem on their network which will lower your speeds during peak data times. Drop your service to LTE For #1, this is the fine print for all plans. Even "Unlimited" says that Tmobile may reduce your data rates after 1.2 TB of data use in a given month. You should still have adequate service if you are affected by this. For #2, this is highly dependent on how good your LTE service is in your area. In my zip code, LTE shows 3-4 bars but the data rates are basically zero and I can only make voice calls and get SMS. This could be the OP's case so I would recommend contacting Tmobile support. OP is correct, after reaching the data limit, they should still get service, not no service.51Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Do I get a "no cost" exchange for a Arcadyan router
If your provided router is not functioning correctly, Tmobile will send you a new unit at no cost. You don't own the equipment, but the "rental" fee is part of your monthly plan fees. Contact home internet tech support to start the process. One thing that you cannot do is request a specific model. Tmobile will send you whatever they have in stock but usually the same model for a defective unit replacement.99Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Iphone 16 on us question

Going Back to Cable
Tmobile needs to get their messaging right on cell internet service. Basically, Tmobile or any other carriers' internet service via cell data is meant for the following: You want a cheaper option than what you have now, but willing to live with lower data speeds and higher latencies. "Cheaper" includes no fees for equipment and no long term contracts. Your location doesn't have cable or fiber internet options leaving you with very expensive options like satellite. Cell data MAY work but performance will on the low end. If you RV and willing to pay for the RV plan, then this is a good option. Not all that different than hotspot from a tech perspective, but the RV internet plan is unlimited data. Basically if you have fast, reliable internet options with cable or fiber there is no reason to try Tmobile unless you are in category 1. In no scenario will you get better internet service from any cell data based solution compared to cable or fiber. At least Tmobile and other cell carriers are putting pressure on the near monopoly of cable internet providers to lower their prices.22Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Availability of free data service in South America
You can checkout coverages and other add on services for international roaming here: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/international-roaming-plans?icid=MGPO_MTW_C_23BNFTHUB_I1SXTV28PF6YRN5S34815 I've personally visited Ecuador and Peru and the coverage was very good. Even Machu Picchu had excellent coverage! If you plan to make a lot of calls, there are unlimited flat rate add on service. Details are in the link above. Also the international phone number to Tmobile Customer Serviceis free as long as you call from your cell phone. I ordered a new iPhone while in Peru and paid nothing for the 30 min call.
