WiFi 2.4 is necessary for certain devices

If nothing else, one option is to use a spare router in AP mode plugged into the Gateway Lan port to broadcast a separate 2.4 signal for the stubborn devices to connect to. I use a GL iNet travel router that you can pick up for abt $30 on Amazon and it works great for this purpose.
