Reolink camera will not connect
Asked this in Other Devices and realized maybe I should have asked it here. If this "double post" is a bozo no-no, please forgive me. Anyway my Reolink security camera will not connect with my new Arkadyan gateway. Tried separating 2.4 and 5 GHz. Nothing worked. Technical support was no help and was very hard to understand. Everything else connects just fine. Thanks. And will other wireless cameras work, and if so maybe which makes?
Here's the workaround that I finally figured out: I plugged my ReoLink system into an old Vizio router and ran a Cat-5 cable from the Vizio internet port to one of the T-Mobile LAN ports. Security cameras came online - phone/PC/etc. Sometimes simple is better. Didn't change default settings, just made sure wireless broadcast names were different.
