G5SE expert settings
I was sent this device after subscribing and find that it is WAY too restricted. I need the ability to map TCP and UDP ports along with other settings otherwise T-Mobile service is not going to work for me and I will need to return to cable. How do I get into the expert level or advanced settings instead of the basic page that just shows signal strength and support phone numbers?
Edit: G4SE device, I can’t change topics.
The business service does offer some more options in the gateway with that service. I am not sure if it will allow you to map the TCP and UDP ports. You might be able to accomplosh this by adding a router connected to the gateway, depending on what you are trying to and if double NAT or disabling some of the router functions will still allow you to do what you want to do.
Try to remeber that even though it is advertised as a home internet service, it still uses the same towers and infrastructure as a T-Mobile smartphone.

I am sort of going through the same problem so far I connected a router to the gateway. Set the web server to the dmz, setup a route to the internet ip and still nothing. So I looked at the gateway, there's no interface for configuration. I downloaded the app and it refused to connect to the gateway although I got the machine to using the same credentials. Scracthing my head. All I could think of was I guess they don't want us to be able to run a webserver or something. If you pay for an internet connection and are an advanced user you sort of want to use the thing. Not too concerned really I will find a way. Otherwise it's been smooth sailing. On the very fringe of coverage and still get a smooth connection. Weak but smooth. I wouldn't care at all but I'm a programmer and write experimental AI web applications.
