Good afternoon. The following situation has arisen. I was sent a Motorola w450 activ phone to Ukraine as humanitarian aid. It doesn't work with our SIM cards. How can I unlock it?
You really should have unlocked it before sending it abroad. Since this is an antique, you might be able to call T-Mobile with the IMEI and request an unlock code. They might be able to provide it, but I wouldn't count on it. You can then send the unlock code to your contact in Ukraine who can enter it when the phone requests it.
You can also do a Google search for YouTube videos on how to unlock.
