Printer connectivity

My Canon MX 410 would not connect via wifi. I tried both 2.4 and 5ghz band options. This is with the KDV21.

Have you tried the suggestions in the other Canon printer thread, including entering the SSID and password manually on your printer?

Your Arcadyan gateway is very limited on settings, so if separating the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands did not help, you may have to use a backdoor method to access other settings such as transmission mode and encryption.

I ended up connecting the printer cable to my desktop. I have the desktop connected to one of the LAN ports and the other going to my network switch (7 port) near my living room TV. I have devices such as XBoxOne, Steam Link, Blue ray, Android TV box and another CAT6 line going to sons bedroom.

It has been working great. Been testing my speeds and been averaging…

    Download - 4XX.XX+ Mbps

    Upload - 5X.XX+ Mbps

    Ping: 22-28ms

My old ISP (Centurylink) plan was 100Mbps down/10Mbps up
