Unable to Pay with AMEX of 4 cvv code

I'm trying to pay my business account's bill using AMEX. It clearly states AMEX is accepted, however, where you enter your CVV number it is limited to only 3 digits and AMEX has 4. Anyone have any tips? Customer service is never helpful with issues I've had.
