T-Mobile provided Hulu - can users pay gor no ads?
On 1/24/24 T-Mobile will add the ADs Included tier to some of its packages. Question: can T-Mobile subscribers accept the free tier and then pay for the upgrade for no ads?

I meant Go5g
If you have Go5G, Go5G 55+, Magenta, Magenta 55+, or any grandfathered plan, you will not qualify for Hulu. Only the Go5G Plus and Magenta Max customers will get Hulu.
Either that or the news services reporting is incorrect. Has anyone on Go5G or Majenta received a text message from T-Mobile regarding Hulu? I am on Magenta Max 55+ and got a text message that I will be eligible for Hulu.
Not true @cjake. I have T Mobile One. I have the offer and the upgraded plan as well. The base layer is free on them.
I have a 1 plan and don't see the option. Do you have the 1 plus plan?

OK, I see the answers to the NETFLIX and HULU upgrade with no ads. I currently have HULU LIVE TV, with no ads and Disney & ESPN. Has anyone upgraded with these items. Gracias.

I called and was told I was NOT eligible for Hulu with Magenta Max 55+ even though I got a text message saying I was. Service Rep said many were calling in because they got a notification as I did, but weren't eligible without changing plans.
IT STINKS!!!!!
Netflix benefit went down (and I chose the plan I have to get the additional Netflix benefit) yet we get nothing from the Hulu benefit. Bait and switch, all the way. Changing plans to get the Hulu benefit costs more than Hulu.

I just chatted with Hulu. I signed up for the free subscription with ads covered by T-Mobile, then asked the Hulu chat to experiment to switch to the $17.99 no ads and see if the charge is going to be the added $10 or if the charge would be the entire $17.99 (losing the T-Mobile promo). She said I'd get the full charge and lose the promo:

Darn. Now I wish I kept my Duo Premium Plan on Disney Plus before I cancelled and got the T-Mobile Hulu deal.
With the Disney Duo Premium Plan (Disney+ and Hulu without adds) I was paying $19.99 a month) This plan is only available through Disney Plus website. However since I cancelled that plan (had to in order to get the T-Mobile deal), I was thinking I could upgrade to the no adds plan. .but Hulu says I wouldn't get the promotion and would have to pay full price.. So I am like. . wait! What? Darn, If I had know that, I would have kept my Disney DUO Premium plan. So now I have to wait until my hulu plan cancels April of 2025 and I am stuck watching adds on hulu. Anyway, if anyone is interested in how to get the Disney Duo plan, then I have attached an image on disney plus and circled the link for it. So as it stands, if I wanted Disney Plus without adds. .I have to pay 13.99/month for Disney Premium. .That is Disney only. But on Hulu, if I wanted to switch to the no adds option, I get this:
You want to switch to
Hulu (sin anuncios)You will have access to Hulu (No Ads) immediatelyYou currently have a free trial, promotion, or discount on Hulu (With Ads). FYI, by updating your subscription, you’ll be giving up the free trial, promotion, and/or discount.” So its not like netflix, where for a few bucks you can upgrade and you just cover the difference. So if I were to change my hulu to no adds and start disney without adds.. here is how much it would cost me:Hulu no adds: Due today: $17.54 by which it would cost $17.99 a monthDisney Plus: Premium No Ads: $13.99 a monthTotal: $31.98 ($17.99+$13.99) This is what I would have to pay went to Hulu add free and Disney Premium add free plans)HOWEVER! If I had not done the tmobile hulu deal, I could have kept my Disney Duo Premium plan at $19.99 and had gotten Hulu Without adds and Disney Plus without adds. So do you all understand what I am trying to write or say? If you already have disney plus DUO premium plan, then don't waste your time doing the tmobile deal. Anyway, sorry if I confused anyone.
