Any cell routers with external antennas?

I am a 15 day trial with the KVD21 5G Home Internet Gateway router. I am barely receiving a usable signal (1-2  Mbps DL, 0.05 Mbps UL, (but sometimes 6M/ 2M)). Trying to get off of my cable ISP, which has become unreliable. Have to put my KVD21 on the street to peer between trees. I tried a Cudy LT300 today (exterior rated)- no luck- no bars. I know Nater Tater has a way to add external antennas (could void warranty); has anyone had luck with other 4G external routers?

I followed the instructions from Waveform, Port 1, 2, 3, 4 correspond to M, M1, M2, D.  I also tried the different method from Nater Tater, but it didn't work for me.  Since I don't need all the cables, I bought the antenna only (with mounting hardware) from an eBay seller. I got a good price. But that seller is out of stock and existing listings on eBay are more expensive than what I bought it for.

  • Ok so I live in a city , surrounded by towers all within 2 miles.  I have as of yet to even get half of the lowest contractually promised download speed.  The excuse I was given by tech support was that it was traffic on the towers.  Of course I find it hard to believe that at 2AM tower traffic is so great that iit would cause my speed to be such that I cannot stream a 720p movie.

If everyone no matter where you live with fairly close proximity to a tower is not getting the contractually promised speed, without having to add a external antenna which voids the warranty, then this should be turned over to a class action attorney so that we are all reimbursed for the failure to fulfill the terms of the contract.
