Change Password and Name of Home Network
I just got T-Mobile internet and after connecting it all up I want to change the factory given password as well as the name that shows up as my network. Using the I.P. address hasn't worked. Customer service chat said to go to the "network" page but didnt' say where that was. I have looked through out the website and app and cannot find where I can login as an admin to make this simple change. I did happen upon a T-Mobile page that said by clicking "here" I would be able to do this, but it's just a page that shows I'm connected. I just made this switch for internet and I"m wondering if I made a mistake…
I have a Gateway Modem, White, stands up...
If you are using the t-mobile internet app, at the bottom there is a tab, middle of the bottom that says Network. Try that. It should show your networks. Select one to change or create a new one.
If using t-life app, scroll the Home page up to find "Home Internet" and your network name. Touch it to select.
Then choose "My Wifi" at the top middle.
Select your network from the list.
It should now allow you to edit the name, etc.

T Life Instructions:
Connect (at bottom) > Things (at top) > tap your gateway / primary network > My Wi-Fi (at top) > tap the '>' to the right of your network name > change the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) in the box > scroll to bottom; tap Save

I’m on T-Life. I have no option to edit the password.

You need to make sure you choose the right-pointing arrow. If you just select your network, it will show you the network, password, and sharing options but won't let you change the password.

This setting seems to have been changed in the app. When I click on the arrow, I get "Gateway Details" with the router's name and only options being Restart gateway and Troubleshoot Gateway. Neither gets me anywhere I can change the name or password.
