There are no port forwarding or upnp options on TMHI gateways.

People will tell you to use vpns or tunnel programs like tailscale

I am having the exact same problem I can’t even game anymore PLEASE HELP!!

  • It's a big fail on the part of T-Mobile. Check out Nater Tater on YouTube for some workarounds, depending on the gateway you received from T-Mobile.

Connect your gateway to a router and make your changes inside your router settings.

That won't work. The first problem is that the only way to connect a router to a T-Mobile gateway is as an access point. DHCP can't be disabled on the gateway, so the router would have to act solely as an AP with different WiFi names from what was generated on the gateway.

The “fix” for this is to have T-Mobile allow access to NAT, UPnP and DHCP on their gateway.
