OS Apps Will Not Load on My New 5G T Mobile Internet Device

Literally nothing works. I have zero connectivity. I'm connected to the built-in wifi, it shows that I have an IP address and I'm less than 10 feet from the trashcan, but it won't do anything at all. Safari won't load pages, Discord won't connect, iMessage won't send messages, etc. It's basically as if I am connected to a wifi network that has no internet connectivity. 

It works on all my other Apple devices, but not my MacBook Air.
