T-mobile Home Intenet and Tuya devices

Feels like T-Mobile Home Internet behave "funky" Tuya (smart life) cloud device requests?  The device goes to power save mode (sleep) so it drops the cloud IP.  If I power the cycle the valve it works!  So T-Mobile blocks unsolicited connects???

More specific information about your device and your specific situation may help people give you advice. I have half a dozen Tuya devices that work well.  I've monitored and controlled them from other states and countries without problems. I suspect my setup or devices may be different, but if you give us better info, maybe someone with a setup like yours will be able to help.

I figured out one part of the puzzle.  The controller goes to sleep so whatever IP it had probably expired.  The device IP address ends with *.  For now i use a KMC outlet to cycle the valve forcing the valve controller to request a new IP and that works. … clunky but it gets the Job done.
