and you know for a fact that the tower you see is in fact TMO and not one of the other carriers? theyre not all stacked on every single tower you see.

I also am having internet issues, the trash internet app says I have a very good connection but Speedtest tells me I am not connected to the internet. This is not an isolated issue. It happens multiple times a week. It's like their cell service motto, T-Mobile you won't be surprised where you don't have coverage. I may have to back to xfinity.

If you haven't done this already, try relocating your T-Mobile internet router to a different location in your living space. Find out where your nearest T-Mobile cell tower is located and move the router as close to a window or room on the same side as the cell tower. Speed test the signal by moving the router a little to the left or right until you get the best signal strength. You may also want to download a Wi-Fi signal tracking app to see which channel your router is broadcasting on and if you have other devices or neighbors using the same channel that might be interfering with your signal. Change the broadcast channel if you have signals occupying the same channel.

There are web sites that tell you where specific cell towers are located for each cell phone provider. Got to do the homework and hope it helps.

Hey there @Izzy102301 The whole idea of mobile data is to get service while you are out and about. Just to make sure I am understanding correctly, are you having issues with the data on your phone or your T-Mobile Home Internet? From your post it sounds like mobile data, but you posted in the home internet space.
For mobile data, how many bars do you have when not connected to Wi-Fi? Does your phone show 5G, LTE, E, or anything next to the signal bars? When you go into the settings, is your cellular data on?
These are a few things to check to start things out. If you let us know that you are still having issues, we can suggest some more troubleshooting steps to get your data working as it should.
