Using Safari some sites say you have been blocked
Looking for insights on solving this problem:
On some sites I am frequently seeing this message. Not sure if this is my IP or a Safari problem. I have checked that Safari has JavaScript enabled.
Much obliged for any advice offered.
You have been blocked.
Why? Something about the behaviour of the browser has caught our attention.
There are various possible explanations for this:
- You are browsing and clicking at a speed much faster than expected of a human being.
- Something is preventing JavaScript from working on your computer.
- There is a robot on the same network (IP 172.xx.xx.77) as you.
It sounds like the site is blocking you based on something the browser is trying to do when you visit the site. Try another and perhaps less intrusive browser.
Syaoran, I appreciate the feedback. I have been recently working with Apple and got the impression they knew this problem. My goal is to spend more time with them when I have patience to try all their troubleshooting.
