why is tmobile bad now
I live in OKC less than 4 blocks from the tower I use. Why can my internet not stay trouble-free for more than a day at a time? It used to be great, now its horrible.
if it improves and or goes bad during certain times then thats usually capacity issues on the tower or whatever tower you are connecting to. usually you’ll see it happen during peak hours (when people are up and about workish hours). one thing you might try is turning your router a bit. some have a oddball internal antenna that is a bit finicky but if you turn it a bit one way or another it might pull in a stronger signal..if this DOES happen then keep swinging it around until you hit its peak signal pull.

Same here I will have to switch back to my previous provider

i suggest posting in that area above. usually some troubleshooting will be needed and there are others that will walk you through in case its an issue on your end.
also did TMO confirm for you that the tower you are seeing is in fact the tower their signal comes from or did you assume because its a cell phone looking tower?

when I have the perfect speed night time between 1am and 5am I know it’s not on my end the problem… so frustrating, will have to switch to another provider...

Yeah, I've given up calling customer service. They are absolutely no help. I've reset it twice today. I've started actively shopping for a new carrier

Weve been down all those roads. This has been ongoing for over a year and getting worse. I saw the same problem with AT&T years ago when the customer base was allowed to grow much faster than network capacity.

So T-mobile answered this for me when they outright suggested I go to another carrier if I expect good service last night. So I did and Verizon modem is in the mail. I'll have 30 days to decide after that.

my post was mainly to the poster just above my post lol. yeah the thought of using their net is nice but im a gamer. if a phones signal can bounce around on your then home net from a tower will too..not my cup of tea
