Zscaler and MS Teams

My company just switched from VPN to Zacaler and now Teams constantly freezes, loses sound and "disconnects" from my WiFi (WiFi does not actually disconnect). I've gotten a new laptop and have been working with our IT team who believes that Zscaler is slowing down my speed and causing the issues. Is there a fix?
