Oneplus 8t

I have a OnePlus 8T that needs out-of-warranty repair.I did not get T-mobile insurance to cover it. Contacting OnePlus was the worst customer care experience I can recall. The manufacturer said that since the device was purchased through T-mobile they would not be supporting repair requests. They insist on referring me to T-mobile to do the repair. I know T-mobile does not perform device repairs so this was a dead end. Escalating with the manufacturer did not yield any better recommendations. They claim if the phone was purchased unlocked, then they would be able to perform the repair. I am going to the Better Business Bureau. Does this mean that if anyone buys another OnePlus device through T-Mobile they can never get it fixed? If that is the case why would anyone ever purchase a OnePlus device from T-Mobile again? Are all manufacturers phones purchased through t-mobile similar dead-end policy?Solved204Visto0likes1ComentarioT-Mobile retroactively removes status updates related to software updates
The company T-mobile has removed the page for tracking Android 12 Development for the OnePlus 7T Pro I made my purchase decision with the promise that T-mobile would be able to handle updating the phone to the software that the manufacturer has already finished working on. A year later, and they've taken down the page for the OnePlus 7T Pro, seemingly throwing in the towel on this project and those customers. Remember, never buy a product based on future promise, because even if T-mobile promises on a website that this phone will get Android 12, they'll just 404 that page when satisfying their customers is inconvenient compared to making money.3.1KViews1like22Comentarios
