Need help connecting Eero mesh with T-mobile internet
I've found many threads that discuss this, but none for those of us who are not tech savvy. 😉 Could anyone please IN PLAIN ENGLISH explain step by step how to set up T-mobile internet (trash can) with an eero mesh 2nd generation system? (Currently, two PCs in the home are connected via ethernet cords to the modem because our current wifi is terrible) I will be forever grateful for help! 🙏 I've spent hours researching this and am still lost...INTERNET 5G RESIDENCIAL
I am getting what I pay for, but it could be so much more. Enable the ability to disable the WiFi 6 RF so that users can use it as only an ISP modem. For those of us who only want the service but have their own hardware like routers/firewalls/extenders/mesh's etc… I LOVE that I was able to get rid of XFINITY so thank you so much but the user should have control of the hardware if they want to...inside there home. I appreciate that you guys provide a wireless router as well for everyone but it should not be too hard to also let users have some function control of what is broadcasted inside their home. Trying to figure out a solution to the no bridge-mode\no port forwardingin T-Mobile's dumbed down appliance. A pfSense firewall will port forward so I can get Plex and ChannelsDVR among other things from outside the network. This solves the bridge mode and port forwardproblem. It also does DHCP and NAT. Add to that my Google Mesh WiFi system (5 units.) So what I'm looking at is T-Mobile appliance>pfSense appliance>Google Router. Onlynow I've gottriple NAT (disaster) unless I put the Google in Bridge mode. But then I'm pretty sure the mesh won't work. Anyone using pfSense with a mesh system? I know I could try ZeroTier but really like the capabilities of pfSense. It can really improve the network in addition to some goodprotection.
