5 TopicsCellular data not working in Chicago area.
My cellular data (iPhone14 pro)has been going in and out and if it's even working it's extremely slow. A speed test hit a high of 20mps. My phone will show full 5Guc butnot load and and disconnect from the internet. It will switchbetween 5Guc, 5G, LTE, E, and SOS mode.Using WiFi there are zero issues. Ialso was ona Sprint plan and upgraded to a tmobile plan for "premium data". It's been this way overa month now in the Chicago area. Anyone else having these issues?86Visto1like2ComentariosData issues - various phones, same account
Been having lack of data issues with several phones on my account - some iPhones, some Android. Iphones won't connect to network if there's no WiFi. Using Life360 on several phones that won't update locations unless they happen to connect to WiFi, but then not consistently. What'sgoing on, T-Mobile? Service (AND customer service) has really taken a hit since we were forced to convert 100% from Sprint. In fact, it's starting to suck so much that I'm really seriously going to another network - after being with [Sprint] for over 20 years.71Visto1like1ComentarioBars decrease in the same location as the day goes by, only in one location, eventually no data.
At the beginning of my day at my office, my S22 Ultra (same exact problem with previous phone, S21 Ultra) has 5GUC and has blazing fast speeds with four bars. This is at my desk. My desk does not move. My building is not mobile. As the day goes on, the "UC" from "5GUC" drops. Bars start dropping. Eventually I only have one bar and sometimes only 4G. The data speeds drop from blazing fast to no data connectivity. This issue does not seem to affect voice calls. This issue happens daily, and is consistent across two different phone models and multiple devices. I have spoken with customer support and they stated that there was some modernization being performed on the tower that I connect with in this location. That was several weeks ago. At some point the support tech made some unspecified change, remotely to my phone and the bars increased and the "5G UC" returned to my phone and so did the blazing fast speeds. That only lasted for a few hours and the issues returned. I don't have time to sit on the phone with customer service all day because I'm at work. Does anyone have any advice?283Visto0likes2Comentariosstalled data repeatedly since merger
-Internet throughput stalls to near zero SEVERAL times a day. -Temporary fix is toggling airplane mode off and on. (Data will then flow until phone then is left idle for some minutes - MERE MINUTES - have to then repeat the process if not on wifi). -Convinced it happened after merger. -Happens across country (sadly, have multiple lines with this company .. all using different device brands). -T-Mobile should come out and ACKNOWLEDGE the problem and give estimates as to a fix (because I'm ready to take my service anywhere else).101Visto1like1Comentario
