I have had Magenta Max since Dec 2022 The service stopped working in May 2024. I stopped getting my unlimited data and cell service. I reported loss of service and did multiple rounds of technical support from mid May to June to fix it. They did not. I didn't have service for almost a month when istopped Autopay in June and announced suspension of my account because I wasn't getting service. Customer service has been despicable since then. I submitted dozens of attachment proofs to customer service and customer service refused to acknowledge any of evidence taken from May to July. They insisted I owed them money for May-July I notified the company that they have voided the contract and I asked for my phone to be unlocked. Ihaven't had phone service since May, I NEED to find a legitimate phone carrier. T-Mobile has continued to charge me for June and July despite not having Magenta Max for over 2 monthes. I haven't had unlimited data or cell service since May and they cut off my amenities in June. They continue to charge me 2 and a half months since I last had service Customer service says the charges are valid on my voided contract and refuse to unlock my phone. Anyone have success getting all their evidence of T-Mobile fraud recognized and having your illegitimate charges taken off? How have you dealt with T-Mobile holding your property hostage and shaking you down stealing from you?43Visto0likes0ComentariosCellular data not working in Chicago area.
My cellular data (iPhone14 pro)has been going in and out and if it's even working it's extremely slow. A speed test hit a high of 20mps. My phone will show full 5Guc butnot load and and disconnect from the internet. It will switchbetween 5Guc, 5G, LTE, E, and SOS mode.Using WiFi there are zero issues. Ialso was ona Sprint plan and upgraded to a tmobile plan for "premium data". It's been this way overa month now in the Chicago area. Anyone else having these issues?92Visto1like2ComentariosData issues - various phones, same account
Been having lack of data issues with several phones on my account - some iPhones, some Android. Iphones won't connect to network if there's no WiFi. Using Life360 on several phones that won't update locations unless they happen to connect to WiFi, but then not consistently. What'sgoing on, T-Mobile? Service (AND customer service) has really taken a hit since we were forced to convert 100% from Sprint. In fact, it's starting to suck so much that I'm really seriously going to another network - after being with [Sprint] for over 20 years.75Visto1like1ComentarioBars decrease in the same location as the day goes by, only in one location, eventually no data.
At the beginning of my day at my office, my S22 Ultra (same exact problem with previous phone, S21 Ultra) has 5GUC and has blazing fast speeds with four bars. This is at my desk. My desk does not move. My building is not mobile. As the day goes on, the "UC" from "5GUC" drops. Bars start dropping. Eventually I only have one bar and sometimes only 4G. The data speeds drop from blazing fast to no data connectivity. This issue does not seem to affect voice calls. This issue happens daily, and is consistent across two different phone models and multiple devices. I have spoken with customer support and they stated that there was some modernization being performed on the tower that I connect with in this location. That was several weeks ago. At some point the support tech made some unspecified change, remotely to my phone and the bars increased and the "5G UC" returned to my phone and so did the blazing fast speeds. That only lasted for a few hours and the issues returned. I don't have time to sit on the phone with customer service all day because I'm at work. Does anyone have any advice?286Visto0likes2Comentarios200mb free for life plan: Devices have no data service, but can go to tmobile.com
Hi everyone. I have two devices that have been long since active on the 200mb data for life plan. One is an ipad, one is an android tablet. The android tablet is my work tablet as a wildland fire administrator. It only gets pulled out during fire season, so it spends a long period of time off and in storage. Yesterday, I got sent to an assignment, so I bought a 30 day data pass for the tablet. I got the text saying it was active and my purchase was successful. However, I have no data services on the device whatsoever, EXCEPT, i can browse any t-mobile website including my.t-mobile.com No apps work, no other websites. The ipad pretty much stays in my bedroom as a reading device, and is constantly on wifi, so i wouldnt notice if it worked or didnt work on the mobile network. However, as part of my troubleshooting with the OTHER line, i disabled wifi, and (this tablet should have 200mb available to use) like the android, I cannot browse any other website thats not t-mobile Things I have confirmed, both in normal troubleshooting and diving into the nerdy stuff: 1. Both devices have several bars of LTE service at my house. I also drove to other locations in the county to hit different towers and confirm i didnt just have a weird glitch on the tower nearest my house. 2. I dropped the devices off LTE and tried on HSPDA 4g. No effect. 3. I confirmed the APN settings were correct. I also let the android auto update the APN. 4. I tried the older, non 4g APN (epc.tmobile.com) 5. I discovered its NOT a DNS issue. (Everyone in IT will understand) I specifically found out that http://www.usa.net successfully tried to bounce to https://www.silversky.com, so whatever DNS service its trying to use is working. 6. I tried both non secure websites and secure websites 7. Android version is updated to the newest firmware for that device. 8. I swapped the two sim cards around to try and eliminate the device(s) as the issue 9. I confirmed theres no app that may mess with data, no data saver, no VPN, nothing out of the ordinary. 10. I tried all three browsers on the device, but apps also report no data or ability to sync, so its not just 80 and 8080 traffic. I did today, on my third phone call, get them to open an engineering ticket (and i wish she gave me the ticket number) but i was hoping someone else had this issue in the past and knows how to resolve it.8.6KViews0likes19Comentariosstalled data repeatedly since merger
-Internet throughput stalls to near zero SEVERAL times a day. -Temporary fix is toggling airplane mode off and on. (Data will then flow until phone then is left idle for some minutes - MERE MINUTES - have to then repeat the process if not on wifi). -Convinced it happened after merger. -Happens across country (sadly, have multiple lines with this company .. all using different device brands). -T-Mobile should come out and ACKNOWLEDGE the problem and give estimates as to a fix (because I'm ready to take my service anywhere else).106Visto1like1Comentario
