I received a voicemail that I would like to keep confidential (i.e., in the category of medical information, counseling, and similar). I am using only wired headsets. However, when I plug headsets in, the sound is practically the same as when I do not plug the headphones in. This means that everyone around me can hear the voicemail. Especially when the person who left voicemail speaks loudly. Are there any possible solutions? E.g., is there an app that I could install to decrease the volume below the minimum volume (so that at least it is more difficult for others to hear it)? Or, what others do in such situation? E.g., is it maybe more confidential if I go to a public place, and listen the voicemail there (i.e., less likely that people who probably do not know me would care about what they hear)? Or, are there any other solutions? (If relevant: 1) no issues with listening music on phone. So it seems that this is a software issue, not a device issue. 2) using Android.)58Visto0likes0ComentariosHow to make wired headphones to work properly with Android phone calls?
Headphones work fine for listening songs (e.g., youtube). However, headphones leak sound when used with visual voicemail and withcalls (including app calls), even when volume is set to minimum. I tried using a few different headphones. My phone is Samsung. Why is this happening and did anyone find a solution? Is it Android 13 issue or Samsung issue?485Visto0likes5ComentariosUsing wired headphones with Samsung phones with a 3.5mm jack
I tried using my Samsung Galaxy A14 5G phone with wired headphones with a 3.5mm jack. If relevant, headphones do not have a microphone. However, the headphones are leaking the sound (even when I set volume on minimum). When I plug the headphones in and when I do not wear them, I can still clearly hear the sound. Headphones work well with all other devices, including my previous Samsung Galaxy phone. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue. Dialing *#0283# (for a loopback test) does not return any menu and does not work. Even when I decrease the sound to zero, I can still hear [loud]sound coming out of headphones. It seems the sound comes from headphones, not from the phone. Changing volume does decrease and increase the sound. …Does anyone have one of newerSamsung phones with a 3.5mm jack (e.g., A14 5G), and do wired headphones work properly with it? Did anyone manage to resolve this issue, and how?211Visto0likes0Comentarios
