Re: new 5g gateway won't connect to the internet
Took me 4 Attempts to get a Gateway 5G that worked longer than a week. Meaning it took nearly 5weeks to get connected for more than a few days. Bring it back to the store, hook up new one, fails in a week. Took it back to the store. Worked a few days. Took back to the store. Arranged with TMobile to send me their very first 5G model after 4 hoursphone calls. Received it at my home and bingo. The tower was directly across the street in a Chruch Parking Lot. Maybe 300 feet from me. Then /I moved 3 miles and the closes tower was 2 miles away and service would be good but not great then weak then back to good several times an hour. In the evenings some times it would not hardly connect until 10pm or so.1Ver0likes0Comentarios5G Internet
Hi, I had TMobile internet for about a year. I ended the connection last Dec 8. My observation are if you are really close to a TTMobile cell tower it is fasst. My tower was literally across the street. When I moved it was OK but nothing at all like at the first location and we were up on a hill 400 feet above the landscape. It took 4 attempts to obtain a device that worked. Each time it would work for a week then fizzle out. I had read online that an older unit worked better and finally as able to get one. Never had an issue with that one. However when I quit using the %G internet I took the equipment back to the same store where I purchased it and told them CANCEL this unit and the associated phone number. That was Dec 8, 2024. Today, 2-25-24 it is still on my bill as "suspended" and I was still being charged $40 a month. Reminds me of AOL in the late 1990;a where AOL would not allow you to quit. They just kept charging and charging and charging. The difference here is I gave TMobile itself the equipment in their store. I have been tempting for them to Cancel since Sec 28 when the new bill came out and it was still there.61Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Home internet modem keeps powering down and restarting
Im thinking it is a manufacturing issue. U have the 3rd unit coming. First didnt work after a day, exchanged at the local Tmobile store and it worked for 7-10 days. China is known to use not spec'ed parts when they run out of the real parts.. Powering Up.7Visto0likes0Comentarios
