Re: 5G Home Internet nightly slow down
The CEOs policy is to oversell the network and degrade the quality for all to boost subscriber counts. I hope his shareholders start to discover that his business strategy is unsustainable and will cause massive turnover to Verizon and AT&T as their more stable networks continue to expand. The gaslighting tech support alone makes me have zero loyalty to T-Mobile. Unfortunately, options are limited where I am at so I have to endure until a proper ISP comes along.13Visto2likes0ComentariosRe: getting bad slowly but surely.
Welcome to T-Mobile. Worlds most oversold network. Absolute zero quality of service guarantees. The idiot CEO is obsessed with pumping the stock by boosting subscription count with unsustainable offers and degrading the quality of the service for all. Eventually the whole country will know just how $hit T-Mobile is and the more QOS oriented ISPs like Verizon and AT&T will start siphoning off subscribers as their more sustainable network grows. I'm almost to the point of paying twice as much per month, buying a $600 gateway and going with Starlink. Every night after work I cant even stream a low quality Youtube stream without buffering. It's absolutely pathetic and enraging internet. Everytime TMHI seems like it might be improving they do some stupid $30/month offer and saturate the network. Imbeciles.2Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: 5G Home internet keeps dropping!
Started happening for me on the Nokia after their latest "stability" update. Does T-Mobile actually have proper engineers that know how to test? The trash 1.2204.01.0101 update ruined my connection and made my time-consuming antenna installation useless. It now seems to connect to the tower with the worst signal. Really, you want to connect to a tower with a -119 RSSI / -2 SNR instead of the one that I was connecting to before with a -97 RSSI / 15 SNR. Idiots. Awful company run by incompetents. Just about ready to jump ship to Starlink. Haven't heard stories with this degree of absurdity from their customers. And I absolutely hate the gaslighting of customers with tower upgrade nonsense. I've completely given up on contacting customer support because I already know what they are going to say.2Visto0likes0ComentariosRe: Low Signal Bars
This service is definitely the most unreliable and slow Internet I've had in the past 15 years. It seems like every time I managed to get a decent signal and consistent speeds they push out an update or do something to the tower to break it. I spent an entire afternoon installing an antenna to point to a tower with a good signal. For an entire month I had acceptable service. They pushed out an update and now I can't even connect to the tower with the awesome signal (-97 RSSI/15 SNR). Instead it connects to some tower further away with an RSSI of -110 and an SNR of 1 and my speeds are chronically slow + terrible ping. The government should take the spectrum back and give it to someone that can actually use it properly. The spectrum is wasted on T-Mobile.8Visto1like0Comentarios
